Timely Completion of 1,174 Projects Needed
Taxila: Convener District Development Committee (DDC) and MNA retired Maj Tahir Sadiq has stressed the importance of ensuring the timely completion of 1,174 development initiatives costing Rs 20.9 million in various regions of the district for the welfare of the people.
Sunday, he presided over a meeting of the committee at Attock. MNA Sadiq stated that under the Annual Development Programme (ADP), all development and welfare initiatives must be accomplished within the specified timeframe.
Released funding for development projects must be utilised in a timely manner, he said, adding that failing departments will be questioned.
Transparency and timely completion of development projects are of the utmost importance, according to him, as they have been initiated for the welfare and improvement of the populace.

Mr. Bokhari stated that DDCs were established to ensure that local elected officials could cooperate with the executing agencies of the schemes to ensure their timely completion. He stated that the work’s quality must not be compromised.
