Indus Highway Sindh Ordered Completion of Gwadar Expressway
Islamabad: According to sources in the media, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Omar Ayub Khan ordered the prompt completion of the Gwadar East Bay Expressway and Indus Highway Sindh.
Omar Ayub Khan gave the appropriate officials instructions to complete all ongoing projects on schedule during the meeting. Five Finance and Revenue projects totaling 1.3 billion will be finished in association with the World Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB) (WB). The minister also gave a directive to all parties involved to finish up any open problems and get the implementation along quickly.
Gwadar East Bay Expressway
This six-lane motorway in Gwadar is currently under development. It has now been postponed to October 2020 from the original completion date of 2018. The motorway will connect the Gwadar Port with the Makran Coastal Highway.
