Qatar management will facilitate fans to travel daily through 500 shuttle flights to cities in neighboring countries like Dubai, Jeddah, and Oman. These arrangements reflect Qatar is fully prepared to host the FIFA Worldcup 2022 final. 

Transport

Before the competition, Qatar made significant investments in expanding its transportation system.

To facilitate the football fans, Qatar has launched a tram system, significant motorways, and a metro rail system that started in 2019.

Public transportation will be free for owners of a “Hayya card,” a fan ID that gives ticket holders admission into Qatar and the stadiums, between November 10 and December 18.

The metro railway is directly connected to five of the eight FIFA Worldcup stadiums; the remaining four are connected via a combination of shuttle bus and metro services.

The fleet of 4,000 buses, which consists of 700 electric buses, will transport people between transportation hubs and stadiums.

Security 

In order to protect the safety of the estimated 1.2 million fans expected to attend the Worldcup, which begins on November 20, Qatar has enlisted the assistance of security forces and police agencies from a number of nations, including France, Jordan, Turkey, Britain, and the US.

Pakistani Troops Are to Be Deployed to Help Qatar With the Security 

Pakistan is the only country to send 4500 foot soldiers to Qatar to help with the security for the FIFA Worldcup 2022 final match. It will be the first time Pakistan’s forces have been dispatched abroad to provide security services for an international event when they guard football teams at hotels.

The Pakistani soldiers had received training from a security team of FIFA before they left for Qatar.
