Work in Progress on More than 140 Projects in Peshawar
Peshawar: According to news sources, the federal and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments are implementing the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) by implementing about 143 projects in various province sectors.
Under the program, the provincial government is implementing 69 development projects, while the federal government is implementing 74 programs.

According to an official announcement, Rs47 billion has thus far been spent on these programs. According to the report, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan presided over a meeting examining the development of PSDP projects in the province on Thursday.
The meeting was informed that the issue of land acquisition for the 32-kilometer Northern Bypass Road in Peshawar had been resolved.
The project would be completed by December 2022 at a cost of Rs21 billion. By August 2022, a project to dualize the 89-kilometer ancient Bannu road at a cost of Rs17 billion will be finished.

Similar to the Chitral-Ayun-Bambureet road, a tender for the 46-kilometer Chitral-Ayun-Bambureet road will be released within one month, and the project will cost Rs4 billion to build. There are a total of 63 projects from a variety of industries included in the 2019 PSDP. PC-I has thus far been prepared for 32 projects, with PDWP approving 16 of them.
The prime minister mandated that the remaining PC-I be cleared before the end of the month. He underlined the significance of swiftly completing all ongoing PSDP projects in the province. He instructed the appropriate authorities to ensure the timely completion of the projects.
The chief minister expressed his concern with the pace of road improvement construction. He mandated that all agencies provide detailed reports on how the allocated funds for the projects were utilized.
