Work on Medical College, Hospital in Mardan in Final Stage
Sunday, the board of governors (BoG) of Medical Teaching Institution (MTI), Mardan, announced that construction work on the buildings of Bacha Khan Medical College (BKCM) and Benazir Bhutto Children Hospital (BBCH) was in full swing and that the two projects would soon be completed.

During the 44th meeting of the BoG, which was chaired by Prof. Dr. Syed Fazle Hadi, the project directors of the two schemes stated the following.
In addition, the conference approved a wage rise for staff of the Mardan Medical Complex (MMC) and its constituent divisions, as well as an honorarium for those who served during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr. Tariq Mehmood, director of the hospital, updated the group on the development of ongoing improvement initiatives. He reported that civil construction on the library, elevators, gynecology and medical wards, etc. had been completed.

Prof. Mukhtiar Ali reported that, from the 15th of July, 293 patients had been examined in the Covid Triage during the fourth wave of the infection.
The hospital’s variable refrigerant flow (VRF) ducting is nearly finished, and its outside units have been installed, according to Dr. Javed Iqbal, project director for the BBCH.
