Work Starts on Road Linking CPEC Interchange, Karakoram
Mansehra: According to a news report, Local Government Minister Akbar Ayub Khan presided over the launching of a 3-kilometer-long road project that will connect the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Interchange to the Karakoram Highway.

Minister Khan stated during the groundbreaking ceremony that the government is concentrating on promoting tourism in the Hazara and Malakand divisions.
According to him, this road project, which is being built with PKR 690 million, will connect the Karakoram Highway to the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad Road and eventually the Hazara Expressway.

A dual, contemporary carriageway will be built as part of this road project, according to the local government minister. According to him, the Kaghan Valley in the Mansehra region will be accessible to more than 5 million tourists thanks to this connecting initiative.
He also made a suggestion that the Datta Road, which will ease traffic in the city and cost PKR 1.75 billion, will soon have its foundation stone set.
