Yet Another Rainfall Spell Set to Grip Most Parts of Pakistan
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), another westerly wave is expected to reach western parts of the country on April 2 and intensify in upper parts on Monday.

Rain-wind/thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls and hailstorm is expected in Kashmir (Neelum valley, Muzaffarabad, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, and Mirpur) and Gilgit-Baltistan (Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghanche, and Shigar) from 2-4 April under the influence of this weather system.
From April 2-4, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Mardan, Bajaur, Kurram, Waziristan, Kohat, Karak, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Mansehra, Buner, Kohistan, Shangla, Haripur, and Abbottabad are expected to experience similar weather.

The same is anticipated in Islamabad, Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Khushab, Mianwali, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib from 2-4 April.
On 2-3 April, isolated rain-wind-thunderstorms are anticipated in northeast Balochistan (Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Qila Saifullah, and Qillah Abdullah) and South Punjab (Multan, D.G. Khan, Bahawalnagar, and Sahiwal).

The PMD has issued a warning that strong winds and hailstorms may cause harm to the country’s loose infrastructure and standing fields (particularly wheat crops).
During the forecast period, heavy rains may produce flash floods in Swabi, Mardan, Peshawar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Nowshera, Waziristan, Bajaur, Kurram, and Kashmir. During the forecast time, landslides may occur in hilly areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Murree, and Galliyat.

Tourists are urged to be extra cautious during the forecast period. The PMD has also notified all relevant authorities in order to avoid any unexpected events during the forecast time.
