321 Plots Allotted by CDA Through Balloting
Islamabad: In place of the removed properties, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) gave citizens access to 321 plots in sectors I-12 and I-14. The National Database and Registration Authority conducted voting to distribute the plots (Nadra).

According to CDA Member Estate Naveed Ilahi, the plots were distributed to individuals whose property was double-allocated and whose land had been removed from maps of the aforementioned sectors after revisions to the design.
According to CDA officials, sector I-12 received 205 plots and sector I-14 received 116. At the voting, which took place at CDA headquarters, were several CDA officers.
According to Mr. Ilahi, the CDA will soon distribute plots to those who are affected by sector E-12 so they can take ownership of the area. He stated that their application is now being reviewed.

Although Sector E-12 was introduced in 1989, the CDA has not yet developed it. However, the CDA has just been instructed to begin work on development in E-12 by a committee that the Islamabad High Court (IHC) established.
