Beautification Project of Rawalpindi Aims at Making Model City
According to a news source, Punjab’s chief minister, Sardar Usman Buzdar, has instructed the Parks and Horticulture Authority to begin beautification efforts in Rawalpindi. In this regard, several tasks have been assigned to the various departments.

Vice-Chairman Parks and Horticulture Authority Rawalpindi stated to the public and local PTI officials that the installation of ornamental lights for the enhancement of highways is under process and will soon be completed.
The objective of his department is to make Rawalpindi a model city in terms of natural vegetation and environmental friendliness.

According to the vice-chairman, the fundamental transformation of all city parks into natural green spaces has been completed. On both sides of Murree Road and the center divider line, more than a hundred distinct flower kinds have been planted in pots.
