Buzdar Favors Land Distribution for New Faisalabad Airport
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has approved the allocation of 400 acres of land for the construction of a new airport in Faisalabad. The airport will be located on land adjacent to the economic zones of Faisalabad Industrial Parks Development and Management Company (FIEDMC).

The Prime Minister also approved the construction of a road from Sahiyanwala to Jaranwala to quickly access the M3 highway from the FIEDMC economic zones.
The minister said he will soon visit Faisalabad and start working in Furniture City, Medical City and Textile City in Allama Iqbal Industrial City and One-Stop Service Center, Security City Project Safety, Space Shuttle Service, FedMic Police Station, Rescue Station 1122 and Disaster Management Cells will also be inaugurated.

On this occasion, FIEDMC President Mian Kashif Ashfaq informed him of the ongoing development work in Allama Iqbal Industrial City, a special economic zone to be established under CPEC under FIEDMC. Appreciating the initiatives of FIEDMC, the Minister said that making Punjab an investment model is part of his vision, for the first time in Pakistan’s history seven special economic zones are being developed. developed in Punjab.
