CDA Prepares Beautification Plan to Transform Zero Point
Islamabad: On July 13, a news outlet announced that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has completed a novel concept for beautifying Zero Point. The proposal calls for a 360-degree rehabilitation strategy, in which the authority will focus on improving sustainability as well as adding aesthetic features.

According to the specifics, the CDA will purify the water from the nearby storm drain and turn it into a stream of clean water. The Zero Point renovation plan also calls for the aesthetic planting of trees and floral plants alongside this creek.
The CDA will also construct walkways and seating places along the nullah’s banks once it has been transformed into a stream.

A 3D design for the project has reportedly already been created by the authority. The goal of beautifying Zero Point is to provide residents with more convenient outdoor leisure options. Similar beautifying initiatives have been carried out by CDA in the city to increase Islamabad’s appeal to both domestic and foreign tourists.
