The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to begin issuing possession letters to eligible allottees in Sectors E-12, C-14, and I-12, marking a major step toward handing over developed residential plots in the federal capital.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Sohail Ashraf, where officials reviewed the progress of ongoing development work across various sectors of Islamabad.
Thousands of Plots Ready for Possession
According to CDA officials:
- Around 2,200 plots in Sector E-12 are ready for possession.
- More than 5,000 plots in Sector I-12 have been developed and are ready for handover.
- Most plots in Sector C-14 have also been completed and are ready to be handed over to owners.
Possession Process to Be Expedited
The CDA chairman directed the relevant departments to contact eligible plot owners and speed up the issuance of possession letters. He also instructed the engineering wing to complete the remaining development and finishing work in the three sectors as quickly as possible.
Focus on Other Stalled Sectors
The authority also decided to review development plans for several delayed sectors, including:
- E-13
- F-13
- D-13
- C-13
- C-15
- C-16
Officials informed the meeting that over 90% of development work has already been completed in I-12 and C-14, while work in E-12 is progressing steadily.
