CDWP Approves Nine Projects Worth Rs. 15.40 Billion
Nine development projects with a total estimated cost of Rs. 15.40 billion were accepted at a Central Development Working Party (CDWP) meeting presided over by Deputy Chairman Planning Commission, Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan. These projects were related to health and food and agriculture.

“Upgradation of DHQ Hospital, District Hafizabad,” a Rs. 8281.339 million project, was the first one to be presented. Upgrading THQ Hospital Minchinabad Division, Bhawalngar from 40 to 100 Beds was the title of the second project, which cost 378.596 million dollars.
Development of a 10-bed emergency ward at a THQ level hospital in Lalamusa Tehsil, Kharian District, Gujarat, was the third project, costing Rs. 71.976 million.
The fifth project, “Building of 20 Bedded Surgical Ward at THQ Hospital, Chunian District Kasur,” was presented and was worth Rs. 132.884 million. It was titled “Up-gradation of THQ Hospital Kharian, District Gujrat, 70 to 100 Bedded.” It cost Rs. 197.344 million.

The “National Program on Animal Disease Surveillance and Control Phase-I” project, which was presented in the meeting and has a budget of Rs. 5228.120 million, was authorised.
