CM Alyani to Recover Handmade Carpet Industry in Balochistan
Peshawar: Chief Minister Jamal Kamal Khan Alyani has asked the small industry department to come up with a plan that will help resuscitate the business of handmade carpets in the province, according to news sources.

He reportedly made the aforementioned declaration while presiding over a meeting where PSDP 2021–22 concept papers and development plans from the home and industries departments were discussed.
The meeting received a thorough explanation of all the development plans put forth for the upcoming fiscal year. During the meeting, the concept paper for the proposed project to upgrade the infrastructure of Quetta Industrial and Trade Estate was approved.

A proposal for the renovation of carpet centers in Sibi, Ziarat, and Chaman has also been made in an effort to revitalize and expand the Balochistani carpet industry.
The development of PC-1 for the modernisation of carpet centers, the construction of CTD complexes in six districts, and the creation of additional police stations were among the other initiatives that were addressed. The Chief Minister also directed to find a location to construct new industries outside of Quetta city since its population is growing rapidly.

Provincial Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove, Additional Chief Secretaries for Planning and Development, Additional Chief Secretaries for Home, Principal Secretaries to the Chief Minister, Additional Secretaries for Finance, Information, and Industries, as well as MD LIDA, were also present at the meeting.
