CM Elahi presided over LDA meeting; the master plan approved
ISLAMABAD, December 24, 2022- Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi signed off on the Lahore Master Plan 2050.
According to CM Elahi, The approval was granted at the Lahore Development Authority (LDA8th )’s meeting, which was presided over by CM Pervaiz Elahi. Farmland preservation for future usage is the primary objective of the Lahore Master Plan 2050. Utilizing sustainable policy changes was part of the strategy to maintain a balance between cities and farms, and it was determined to raise the extent of green space from 7% to 20%. At the discussion, it was also discussed how the Central Business District’s developments were progressing and developing (CBD). The group decided on strategies to enhance tourism, the environment, and urban facilities under the Master Plan 2050. Additionally, it was approved to renew a contract with the Choueifat School and provide new plots to Mustafa Town residents who lost their original ones.
