CM Reviews Progress on Peshawar’s Low-cost Surizai Housing Scheme
According to news reports, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan issued a directive for the implementation of the low-cost Surizai Housing Scheme.

During the discussion, the difficulties impeding the project’s advancement were examined, and decisions were made to address them. The attendees were informed that the Surizai project is being constructed on 8,500 kanals of land as part of the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP).
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has already been inked between Provincial Housing Authority and Pakistan Housing Authority, it was also revealed. This program will result in the construction of 16,000 grey structure units that will be made available to government employees and others.

In addition, it was claimed that a number of housing projects have been initiated in the province under the NPHP, while others are in the planning stages. The government is aiming to give housing facilities and employment possibilities to locals in the region by promoting the housing and construction sectors, as indicated by the prime minister.
