CPEC Projects in Balochistan to Be Completed in Stipulated Time
Prime Minister Imran Khan of Pakistan stated in the afternoon that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects in the Balochistan province would be finished on schedule.
According to an official statement issued by the PM’s office, the Chief Minister updated the Prime Minister on CPEC and the development projects in Balochistan, and they also discussed the broader political situation in the province.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has stated that his nation requires investment from China to boost industrialization and provide jobs for its rising population.
In order to entice an increasing number of Chinese investors, the prime minister also authorized the relevant authorities to offer land and tax concessions.
Five of the country’s 27 SEZs, including Dhabeji in Sindh, Rashakai in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Bostan in Balochistan, Allama Iqbal Industrial City in Punjab, and Gwadar in Balochistan, is now undergoing construction.

At each of these SEZs and at the CPEC Authority’s Facilitation Center, a single-window operation facility is being established to resolve all potential Chinese investors’ difficulties.
The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which links Gwadar Port in Balochistan to Xinjiang province, is the centerpiece project of China’s multibillion-dollar Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Since 2013, CPEC has been a collection of infrastructure and other projects being built in Pakistan.
