CPEC to Gain Momentum in Days Ahead
Islamabad: The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) sees Pakistan-China relations gaining momentum by the day, so the project will continue more vigorously in the coming days.

Given that the CPEC project is progressing well, Pakistan expects significant economic activity in the coming days. A notable result of the Chinese government’s new Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Pakistan has emerged as a major player in regional economic activity.
The country’s economic activity is gaining momentum after the second phase of CPEC was launched. This phase mainly consists of industrial cooperation.
The planned SEZ under CPEC is essentially aimed at attracting Chinese industry and investment, but both countries have already offered third-party participation in the megaproject. China’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong also expressed satisfaction with the progress of the CPEC project in a recent statement, the official said.

Similarly, officials said the Aramaic Iqbal Zone Faisalabad would be completed as a priority, creating about 250,000 jobs for locals.
Officials said about 1,100 kilometers of roads have been completed under CPEC and 850 kilometers are under construction.
