Drones Obtained by CDA for Monitoring Wildlife, Forest
The municipal administrators of ISLAMABAD have decided to purchase drone cameras for monitoring wildlife and forests.

As a pilot project for the Model Forestry Park in Malpur, the CDA has issued an invitation for bids to purchase a drone camera with the most up-to-date technology for Rs6.8 million.
The drones will be used to detect encroachment in the forest region, allowing for prompt action to be taken against the trespassers. The camera will also aid in classifying the species of wildlife found in Islamabad’s woodlands. It is mentioned in “migratory wildlife” that this technology will be used to enhance other measures, such as stopping illicit logging.

The Model Forestry Park is being constructed under the supervision of the director of the environment, who has been making efforts to acquire drone technology for the park, according to the sources. In addition, they reported that the park was created on 350 acres and that roughly 50,000 trees were planted on January 13. A CDA official stated that the municipal agency was also intending to install over one hundred closed circuit television cameras in the park for the protection of flora and visitors.
