The National Institute of Electronics (NIE) asserts that the electronic voting system it has developed would prevent election tampering.
The prime minister issued an order to speed up efforts to give the electronic computer the most recent security measures, taking into account the lessons learned by developed nations.

This month, NIE, the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), and COMSATS University collaborated to build the e-voting machine.
