FGEHA to Outsource Remodeling Work in G-13, 14
Islamabad: According to news sources, the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has hired private companies to perform the horticulture work in sections G-13 and G-14.

According to sources close to the process, FGEHA has chosen to hire a private firm instead of establishing a new horticulture department because the latter option is more costly to manage.
Initially, road infrastructure, green belts, and aesthetic work would be outsourced at the cost of 24 million Pakistani rupees per year. The contracted firm will additionally do extra tasks as required. Notably, G-13 is a fully developed sector, while G-14 is just partially built.

According to reports, FGEHA is the sole developer of both sectors and is responsible for providing municipal amenities. However, the authority is experiencing difficulties in supplying potable water to these sectors. Currently, G-13 is supplied with water from the G-10 area at discounted prices via tankers.
