The Federal Investigation Agency has extended the deadline for its ongoing recruitment drive, giving candidates an additional week to submit applications.
According to an official notification issued under the Ministry of Interior Pakistan, the last date to apply for FIA vacancies has been extended from May 4 to May 11, 2026, following what authorities described as public interest considerations.
The recruitment drive includes 1,394 vacant positions across various departments nationwide. The jobs were originally advertised on April 19, with applications being accepted through an online portal.
Officials clarified that all previously announced terms and conditions will remain unchanged. This includes age limits, educational requirements, and experience criteria, which will still be calculated based on the original cutoff date of May 4, 2026.
Authorities have emphasized that only online applications will be accepted and no manual submissions will be entertained. The extension, they said, has been granted to facilitate candidates and ensure wider participation in the hiring process.
