Four Mega Projects Ratified for Lahore
Lahore: According to news reports, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar has given preliminary approval for four massive infrastructure projects for the provincial capital, totaling PKR 10 billion. These projects include the Shahdara Modern Turbo Roundabout.

According to sources, CM Buzdar was recently provided with the four mega projects for approval by LDA Director General (DG) Ahmed Aziz Tarar. The Chief Engineer LDA Mazhar Hussain worked with National Engineering Services Pakistan to create the projects’ basic outline (NESPAK).
After PC-1 is finished, the chief minister gave the pertinent agencies instructions to obtain project approval.
Eight ramps and Turbo roundabouts would be constructed in Shahdara as part of the project for PKR 5 billion. Aroundabout construction would be advantageous for 300,000 automobiles. Similar to that, a dual highway 6.5 kilometres long from Ghazi Road to Bhatti Chowk will be constructed and upgraded for PKR 1.80 billion.

Eight crossroads in Lahore, including Bhatti Chowk, Data Darbar, Faisal Chowk, Gulshan Ravi T Junction, Nishtar Junction, and Kahna Kacha Roundabout, will also be improved at a cost of PKR 1.40 billion. The project also involves a PKR 900 million restoration project for the nearby area of Data Nagar Burj.
