Funds Released for Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway
According to prior reports, the Federal government has released 14 billion Pakistani rupees for the development of the Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway (M-6) project in Nawabshah.
Shaheed Benazirabad Division Commissioner Syed Mohsin Ali Shah, presiding over a meeting on land acquisition for the Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway project, remarked that the construction of the Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway (M-6) would usher in a new age of development in the region.
He went on to remark that the National Highway Administration (NHA) will get all feasible assistance during the project’s execution. This road project will improve transportation amenities and create new employment prospects. In addition, the commissioner announced that a method for rapid payments to landowners would be developed.

In addition, National Highway General Manager Sham Sundar said that the construction work on the project would be finished in accordance with the 2015-2016 working document. According to him, this highway will tremendously assist the residents of Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Sukkur, Khairpur, Matiari, and Naushahro Feroze.
It is important to note that the highway is 306 kilometers long and will have six lanes. Eight assistant directors and five deputy directors have been appointed for construction oversight.
