Governing Body Approves Reverting LDA Jurisdiction
Lahore: According to a news report, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) governing body has approved the proposal to return the authority’s jurisdiction to the Lahore district.

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar gave the officials responsible orders during the LDA governing body meeting to change the LDA Act 1975 as needed to revert the jurisdiction.
With the aforementioned enlargement, the authority assumed supervision over the housing developments in the districts that were added. The remaining three districts’ Tehsil Municipal Administrations (TMAs) nonetheless continued to have control over the buildings.

The Panahgah Authority was granted permission at the same meeting to build a shelter home on a residential parcel in Jubilee Town. Housing Minister Mian Mahmood-ur-Rashid, Vice-Chairman of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), Sheikh Imtiaz Mahmood, administrative secretaries, and other relevant authorities were present at the meeting.
