Shehbaz Sharif has approved a significant reduction in diesel prices, citing improving economic conditions during the week.
The government has cut diesel prices by Rs. 32.12 per litre, bringing the rate down from Rs. 385.54 to Rs. 353.43 per litre following the prime minister’s approval.
The premier stated that the government’s priority is to pass on the benefits of declining global oil prices to the public as quickly as possible. He emphasized that any relief from lower petroleum costs would be transferred to consumers without delay.
Officials confirmed that the revised prices will be implemented at the earliest, ensuring immediate relief for citizens.
