Government Committed to Providing Best Medical Services: Faisal
Islamabad: According to Faisal Sultan, the government’s point man on health, the government is committed to delivering the “best medical services” to mothers and children in public hospitals.

The PM’s adviser stated that the administration has prioritized the health sector, notably the health of mothers and children, by initiating multiple megaprojects. He stated that effective efforts were being taken to fulfill universal health coverage (UHC) objectives.
Faisal stated that the government was investing in health systems, particularly primary health care (PHC), and was dedicated to implementing its agenda to attain the UHC objective.
He guaranteed the growth of the Sehat Sahulat Programme, which will be “important” in reducing the financial burden on the impoverished and marginalized population, as well as his support for the UHV Package.

He stated that the government was formulating strategies and plans to strengthen PHC services and to implement the UHC strategy. To effectively combat the disease, he advised the public to carefully follow to Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SoPs).
