Gulab Devi Underpass Accessible to Traffic
On Monday, December 27th, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar, opened the newly constructed Gulab Devi underpass on Feroz Pur Road to traffic in Lahore. According to the most recent reports, the underpass would be known as the Abdul Sattar Edhi Underpass.

The project was finished two months ahead of schedule and cost Rs 659.2 million. The project was also announced to reduce annual fuel expenses by sixty million rupees. Each day, roughly 132,000 cars are projected to use a three-lane underpass. On the road to major hospitals, underpasses show to be especially useful in reducing traffic congestion.

Mr. Buzdar stated during the opening that the government is spending 50 billion rupees on elevated expressway projects. From Gulberg to the M2 Babu Sabu Interchange, this project continues. The government is investing billions of rupees in improving the city’s road infrastructure with significant projects, including the Shahkam overpass, the Sheranwala Gate flyover, and other no-signal corridors.
