Gwadar Hospital Being Upgraded With 150 Beds Addition
Noor ul Haq Baloch, the Balochistan Secretary for Specialized Health Care and Medical Education, stated that the government would develop the 50-bed Gwadar Hospital to a 150-bed, state-of-the-art medical facility in order to provide the greatest health care facilities for the people.

During a visit to the hospital, the secretary stated that in the first phase, the Gwadar Facility would be upgraded to 150 beds, and in the second phase, the hospital would be expanded to 300 beds.
The Secretary stated that the government has provided a grant of 17 million rupees to the hospital for the provision of medical services to locals affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
According to him, the help in the form of equipment will improve the hospital’s overall service delivery and the healthcare services offered to the people.

The Secretary stated that the vaccination process and emergency testing capability in the region should be hastened.
Baloch stated that the distribution of health cards to the Balochistan populace would guarantee access to free, high-quality medical care at the province’s healthcare facilities.
