Huawei has officially unveiled the Nova 16 Pro, a feature-packed smartphone that brings flagship-level camera hardware, a large battery, and high-speed charging at a more competitive price point. The device also introduces Huawei’s latest Kirin 9010S chipset and runs the newest version of HarmonyOS.
Design and Display
The Huawei Nova 16 Pro features a 6.84-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and support for 1.07 billion colors. The panel covers the P3 wide color gamut and uses LTPO technology, allowing the refresh rate to dynamically adjust between 1Hz and 120Hz for smoother performance and improved battery efficiency.
Huawei has protected the display with Kunlun Glass and claims a peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits, making the screen easier to view under direct sunlight.
Despite housing a massive 7,000mAh battery, the phone maintains a slim 7.1mm profile and weighs 218 grams. The Nova 16 Pro is available in Starry Black, Sky Blue, White, and Frost Purple color options.
Performance and Software
Powering the device is Huawei’s new Kirin 9010S processor paired with HarmonyOS 6.1.
