The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Islamabad Electric Supply Company) has announced a scheduled power suspension program for Tuesday across multiple areas under its jurisdiction due to maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply in several parts of the Islamabad Circle will remain suspended from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The affected feeders include Khana Dak, Burma, Waheedabad, Rehman Enclave, Khanna East, Khana-II/Qadeer Road, Al Noor Colony, Shareefabad, Ghouri Garden, Scheme-I, Gharial, I-8/4, I-8 Markaz, CCC-II, and Fazaia feeders.
In the Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power outages will also occur from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in areas served by Pakistan Air Force, Rehmatabad-I, Chaklala, Takbeer-I, Takbeer-II, Takbeer-III, and Kot Jabbi feeders.
Similarly, in the Rawalpindi City Circle, electricity will remain suspended during the same hours from Sector-IV and APHS feeders.
In the Attock Circle, affected areas include Attock Rural, Teen Mela, and Bagh Nelab feeders, while in the Jhelum Circle, outages will impact Shah Safeer, Karsal, Pind Mattay Khan, Sohawa Katchery, Main Bazar, Jand Mehlu, Karyala, Metro City, Grand City, Bolani, and Co Muhammad Akram feeders.
In the Chakwal Circle, Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur, and CWO feeders will face power suspension from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Under the GSO Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in several feeders including Gujjar Khan, Mandra, Qazian, Islam Pura, Dora Badhal, and others.
The spokesperson added that transmission line maintenance will also affect 132-kV lines including Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and Kahuta City–Palandri, with outages scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Additionally, maintenance work on Power Transformer T-3 at the 132-kV Rawalakot grid station will cause a shutdown from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The company apologized for the inconvenience and stated that power may be restored earlier than scheduled if maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
