The Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) has announced summer vacations for private schools and colleges in Islamabad, with all institutions scheduled to remain closed from May 25 to July 31.
According to an official notification, the summer break will apply to all private educational institutions operating within the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
The authority confirmed that academic activities will resume on August 3 after the conclusion of the holidays.
The decision comes amid rising temperatures across various parts of the country, as education authorities move to implement summer vacation schedules for schools and colleges.
Meanwhile, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has also announced the same vacation schedule for public sector educational institutions in Islamabad. Government schools and colleges in the federal capital will likewise reopen on August 3 following the summer break.
