Launch of CPEC Business & Industrial Cooperation Tower
The Cabinet Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has approved a number of projects, including the development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Business & Industrial Cooperation Tower and the realignment of Karakoram Highway (KKH) from Thakot to Raikot (CCoCPEC).

According to the sources, Minister of Planning Development & Special Measures Asad Umar directed CCoCPEC, which was attended by Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Omar Ayub Khan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on CPEC Affairs Khalid Mansoor, Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid, Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin, and other relevant parties.

During the conference, a Public-Private Partnership was established for the development of the CPEC Business & Industrial Cooperation Tower in Islamabad. Plan for Pakistan Coast Guards and Pakistan Navy to abandon land at Shamba Shamail, Gwadar. Minister of Planning and Development Asad Umar’s directive to the appropriate parties to turn over 52 acres of land was also reviewed during the meeting.
