Lenovo is making a comeback in the smartphone market with its updated Legion Y70 (2026), which is set to launch on May 19. The company had previously teased key features, and additional specifications have now been confirmed ahead of the release.
Performance and Cooling
The Lenovo Legion Y70 2026 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for high-end performance.
To manage heat, the device will feature a large 5,500mm² vapor chamber cooling system designed for sustained gaming performance.
Display and Design
The phone will sport a Q10 AMOLED LTPO display with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also supports a 360Hz touch sampling rate, Dolby Vision, DC dimming, and peak brightness of up to 7,000 nits.
It will be offered in Carbon Black and Ice Soul White color variants.
Cameras
On the rear, the device includes a 50MP Sony LYT-710 main sensor with optical image stabilization, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a secondary 2-in-1 auxiliary sensor.
For selfies and video calls, there is a 32MP front-facing camera.
Battery and Additional Features
The Legion Y70 2026 packs a large 8,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging and bypass charging.
Other features include IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, improved connectivity options, and dual eSIM support.
Availability
The device is already open for pre-reservations in China ahead of its official launch on May 19.
