Starting August 15, 2024, M-Tag will become mandatory for all vehicles traveling on the Lahore Sialkot Motorway (M-11). The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) announced this new regulation, which aims to streamline toll collection and improve traffic flow efficiency on this major route of Lahore Sialkot Motorway.

The M-Tag system, which facilitates electronic toll collection, allows for automatic toll fee deductions from a prepaid account linked to the vehicle’s registration for Lahore Sialkot Motorway. This eliminates the need for cash transactions at toll plazas, thereby reducing congestion and wait times for drivers.
How to Obtain an M-Tag
Vehicle owners can acquire an M-Tag from designated service centers or toll plazas. The process involves linking the tag to the vehicle’s registration and setting up a prepaid account that can be replenished as needed. For assistance and more information, the NHMP has set up a helpline at 1313.
