Masood Nabi has been elected Chairman of the Pakistan Petroleum Exploration and Production Companies Association (PPEPCA).
PPEPCA represents Pakistan’s upstream oil and gas exploration and production sector and includes major local and international E&P companies operating in the country. The association plays an important role in policy advocacy, industry coordination, and engagement with stakeholders to support the sustainable development of Pakistan’s petroleum industry.
Masood Nabi currently serves as Managing Director and CEO of Government Holdings (Private) Limited (GHPL). He has more than 25 years of experience across the petroleum, energy, mining, and financial sectors, with leadership roles in both public and private organizations.
He earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and later completed his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Following his election, PPEPCA and its member companies congratulated Nabi and expressed confidence that his leadership would help strengthen Pakistan’s upstream petroleum sector while contributing to the country’s long-term energy security goals.
