The Punjab Mass Transit Authority (PMTA) has announced the temporary suspension of the Multan Metro Bus Service and all its feeder routes on Monday, June 22, 2026, in connection with 6th Muharram-ul-Haram.
According to the authority, metro operations will remain suspended throughout the day. Commuters who rely on the service have been advised to make alternative travel arrangements and plan their journeys in advance to avoid inconvenience.
The suspension applies to both the main Metro Bus corridor and all associated feeder routes operating across the city.
PMTA stated that normal operations are expected to resume after the temporary closure. Passengers are encouraged to stay updated through official channels for any further announcements regarding service restoration.
The temporary suspension is part of special arrangements being implemented during Muharram to facilitate security and traffic management measures across Multan.
