MG Motor Pakistan has reduced the price of its Binguo EV in the local market amid rising competition in the country’s electric vehicle segment. The announcement was made during the launch event of the new MG4 EV Urban in Lahore.
The Binguo EV was originally introduced in Pakistan in December last year as a compact electric hatchback designed for city driving and daily urban commuting.
The vehicle is equipped with a 31.9 kWh lithium ferro-phosphate battery and an electric motor that produces 67 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. The company states that it offers a WLTP-certified range of up to 273 kilometers on a single charge.
In terms of charging, the EV supports both DC fast charging and standard AC charging. With DC fast charging, the battery can charge from 30% to 80% in around 35 minutes, while AC charging takes about 5.5 hours for a full charge from 20% to 100%.
Under the revised pricing, the MG Binguo EV has been reduced from Rs. 59.99 lakh to Rs. 56.99 lakh, marking a price cut of Rs. 3 lakh.
