Miyawaki Forest Inaugurated at Metropolis
Karachi: City Administrator Laeeq Ahmed announced that with the opening of the Miyawaki forest at Metropolis, work has begun on the massive project to plant 300 urban forests in Karachi in order to improve the environment and increase the beauty of the city.

According to the administrator at the launch of the programme, NED University was providing technical support for the initiative with funding from the Faizan Global Relief Fund.
Laeeq Ahmed planted trees in the area to mark the beginning of the Miyawaki forest.
A representative of the Faizan Global Relief Foundation and pertinent officials were also present.

According to the agreement with NED University of Engineering and Technology, starting from that point, 300 Miyawaki forests would be planted throughout Karachi.
