One Window Business Portal Launched in KP
On Monday, December 13 in Peshawar, Mr. Mehmood Khan, Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), unveiled a single-window business platform to stimulate commercial and industrial activity.

The portal will function as a central location for businesses and investors to get licenses, registrations, and certificates. The portal will contain permits from numerous provincial ministries that are required for founding a business or investing in the province. The business community will have access to an online payment system for building map approval, registration fees, and various taxes.
The ceremony was also attended by the CEO of the KP Board of Investment and Trade, Hassan Dawood, the Additional Chief Secretary, Shahab Ali Shah, the Industries Secretary, Hamayun Khan, and the Managing Director of the KP Informational Board, Ali Mehmood.

It was revealed that the site is a collaboration between KP-ITB and KP-BoIT that will digitally connect businesses with the relevant provincial and federal partners to facilitate the delivery of efficient and effective services.
According to insiders, the facility would be linked to eleven divisions in order to boost the system’s efficiency. Government officials are committed to expanding business and commercial activities by aiding entrepreneurs and investors. The process is more efficient because investors and businesses do not need to visit numerous offices. This platform will ensure the transparency and accountability of NOC issuance.
