Orange Line Metro’s 1st Anniversary Milestone of 20mn Riders
A ceremony was held at the project’s headquarters to commemorate the first anniversary of Orange Line Metro Rail Train System (OLMRTS) operations.

Chief guests included H.E. Mr. Peng Zhengwu, Chinese Acting Consul General, and Mr. Mirza Naseer Inayat, Managing Director Punjab Mass Transit Authority. Top management from the OLMRTS venture was also present to pay tribute to the Pakistani government for its unwavering support, and to the project members for ensuring the availability of world-class service with flawless continuous improvement.

The event also celebrated the passage of a milestone of 20 million passengers who chose to use the Orange Line trains throughout the year in order to travel from Dera Gujran to Ali Town in 105 minutes.
