Pakistan, Russia to Sign SHA for Gas Pipeline in Nov
According to a report by the officials, Pakistan and Russia have reiterated their unequivocal commitment to the key Pakistan Stream Gas Pipeline project and have committed to finish the Shareholders’ Agreement (SHA) during the month of November.
During the fourth meeting of the Russia-Pakistan Joint Technical Committee for the Pak Stream Gas Pipeline, the two countries addressed the scheme’s draught Shareholders Agreement (SHA).
After signing the Head of Terms (HOT) in July of this year, the parties engaged in extensive negotiations on all main topics relevant to the SHA and reached a consensus on critical concerns. The Russian side organized a conference with bank-led financial advisors.

The parties agreed to continue drafting the SHA throughout the following week. In addition, they agreed to restart negotiations in Islamabad beginning the week of November 8, 2021.
