Pakistan Wins the First Ever T20 Match by Ten Wickets
The unstoppable partnership between Pakistan’s openers Babar Azam and Rizwan Khan enabled Pakistan to defeat India by 10 wickets. The combination had hit a remarkable 152 runs for the first wicket to chase down India’s total. Muhammad Rizwan scored 79 points, while Babar only managed 68.
Perhaps for the first time in their previous six T20 World Cup matches, Pakistan appeared to have absolute control over India.
After Pant’s dismissal, Pakistan kept Kohli quiet, and things were under control. While Ravindra Jadeja only managed 13 runs per delivery, Kohli scored fifty. Shaheen removed him in the 19th over for 57 runs. He hit five fours and a home run in 49 balls.
Babar got his fifty with a six off Varun Chakravarthy, while Rizwan reached his fifty with a four off Jasprit Bumrah. Mohammad Shami bowled the 18th over, in which the total was chased down.

India, who entered the game with a perfect 5-0 record in the competition, exited the field in dejection. Men in Green will now face New Zealand at the Sharjah International Stadium on October 26.
Earlier, Pakistan captain Babar Azam stated, “Records are intended to be broken,” which was echoed by the spectators, and Azam demonstrated this on the field.
