PM Commands Issuance of Funds for Infrastructure Projects

According to news reports, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan of Islamabad has directed the release of funding for the construction of quality motorways to improve connectivity, employment, and trade possibilities in urban and rural areas.

The Prime Minister Khan presided over a meeting to assess the development of National Highway Authority (NHA) projects. The prime minister noted that roads are crucial to economic development. He went on to remark that improved roads will reduce the cost of importing petroleum products and maintaining vehicles.

Federal Minister Murad Saeed stated that a total of 1,753 kilometers of roads were finished in three years after sharing information on roads that were built.

More than 3,000 kilometers of roads were constructed in Balochistan, it was revealed. In addition, guests were informed that the NHA intends to complete 27 projects during the current fiscal year.
