PM to Track-and-Trace System to Combat Tax in Retail Sector
On November 23, Prime Minister Imran Khan will unveil a tracking and tracing system for the electronic monitoring of the production of tobacco, fertilizer, sugar, and cement in Pakistan.

The track and trace system’s electronic monitoring will continue until the goods are delivered to the clients. According to the release, the new technique will increase income and combat tax evasion.
According to the study, the track and trace system has already been implemented in the tobacco business, while the electronic monitoring system will be implemented in other industries following the tobacco and sugar industries.

It will enable the monitoring of all goods from the authorized sectors, and the petroleum and beverage industries will adopt the system in the next phases.
