The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has announced that admissions for the 2025–2026 academic session will close on April 15, 2026.
According to an official notification, all recognized medical and dental colleges have been instructed not to offer admissions beyond the deadline. The council emphasized that any student admitted after April 15 will not be registered under any circumstances.
The PM&DC further stated that admissions granted after the cutoff date will be considered a violation of the PM&DC Act, 2022, as well as existing regulations governing undergraduate medical and dental education. Students admitted late will not be issued registration numbers, making their admission invalid.
The directive, approved by the relevant authority, is binding on all institutions and admitting universities across the country.
The council has urged colleges to strictly follow the rules to ensure transparency, merit, and standardization in medical and dental education.
