PMU Set Up for Execution of ‘gandhara Valley City’ Project
According to news sources, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan has been notified that the Project Management Unit (PMU) is being established for the execution of the Gandhara Valley City project.
The gathering was informed that the land acquisition for the Gandhara city project had been advertised using the land-sharing formula and that a consultant had been appointed for the scheme’s master planning.
In addition, the projected city will have a 1.132-hectare Media Enclave for Peshawar’s journalists. It was also decided to issue tentative plot allocation letters to Peshawar Press Club journalists. Composed of the President of the Peshawar Press Club and other relevant authorities, a committee was formed to devise a mechanism for letter distribution.

In describing the kinds of plots in Gandhara Valley City, the delegates were informed that the board of the Peshawar Development Authority had authorized a formula according to which:
- 2% of the residential area would be made up of four Kanal plots.
- 4% will be composed of two Kanal plots.
- 16% of the five Marla plots
- 17% of 7 Marla acreages
- thirty percent of 10 Marla plots
- 30% of 1 Kanal acreage
