Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced an open auction of commercial properties across Islamabad, offering investors an opportunity to purchase commercial plots, petrol pumps, and retail spaces in some of the capital’s prime locations.
The auction will be held over three days, from August 4 to August 6, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM each day at the Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad.
According to the CDA, the auction includes commercial plots in Blue Area, various Markaz, E-11 Northern Strip, and the I&T Centre in G-11. The authority will also offer petrol pumps/filling stations and shops in the Blue Area Parking Plaza.
To encourage investor participation, the CDA has introduced several facilitation measures. Buyers will be able to obtain building plan approval after making an initial 25% payment, while site and marketing office charges will be waived during the CDA-approved construction period.
The authority also announced that possession of plots will be granted after 75% payment, with the remaining balance secured through a bank guarantee. In addition, CDA has committed to assisting successful bidders with services such as electric line shifting, sewerage upgrades, and land clearance where required.
Interested investors can obtain the auction brochure from the CDA One Window Directorate and designated branches of MCB Bank, HBL, UBL, Askari Bank, and the Bank of Punjab (BoP). The brochure will also be available for download from the official CDA website beginning July 20, 2026.
As part of the auction incentives, the CDA is offering a 5% rebate on the total payment if the full amount is paid within one month. An additional 5% rebate will be available for payments made in US dollars.
The authority has advised prospective buyers to carefully review the plot details, eligibility criteria, and terms and conditions outlined in the official auction brochure before participating in the bidding process.
