Punjab to Establish Ferozepur Road As Central Business District

The Punjab Government has declared plans to build up-to-date, high-rise commercial structures along Ferozepur Road to create a Central Business District (CBD).

The plan calls for the construction of imposing shopping malls near the locations of Camp Jail and Rescue 1122 Academy.

According to projections, turning the land into a CBD might bring in billions of rupees for the provincial government.

Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently convened a meeting to consider the issue and gave the necessary authorities instructions to create a thorough plan for the commercial structures.

In order to make room for the envisioned high-rise commercial centers, he also urged officials to look into other places for Camp Jail and Rescue 1122 Academy.

High-rise commercial centers being built in the middle of the city are anticipated to encourage commerce and accelerate economic development. The provincial administration has been asked to advance the CBD Cooperative project in light of this.

This program is a part of the government’s broader initiatives to support the province’s economic growth and development, which are anticipated to increase job opportunities and increase investment in the area.

The provincial administration has not yet provided information on the project’s budget or schedule.

But according to officials, the project will be finished in stages. The proposed development is expected to significantly increase the economy and foster an environment that will allow businesses to flourish.
