The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has introduced the NextGen Safety App, a new digital platform designed to improve safety and provide quick assistance to young people across Punjab.
Launched under the youth-focused initiatives of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the app brings emergency help, guidance, and safety services together in one mobile platform.
According to PSCA, users can quickly access emergency support and related services through their smartphones, making it easier to seek help in critical situations.
The authority said the initiative is part of its broader plan to use technology for improving public safety and ensuring faster response times for citizens, especially the youth.
Officials added that the app aims to strengthen protection mechanisms by connecting users directly with support services when needed.

The NextGen Safety App is now available for download on both Android and iOS devices.
